Fly-fishing clinic supports cancer survivors

Let’s Go Fishin’, a fly-fishing clinic to benefit breast cancer survivors, will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon Aug. 26 on the Arkansas River in Swissvale.

The clinic supports Casting for Recovery, a national non-profit support and education program.

Sponsored by Angler’s Junction, the clinic will teach women about the art of fly-fishing using its five professional guides instructing about entomology, knot tying, casting and reading the river.
